HNPL Partners & Friends Quilt Raffle


The Partners & Friends of HNPL are raffling off a quilt for the holidays.

Tickets are $1/each, or $5/6 tickets.

The drawing will take place on December 1, and the quilt will be presented to the winner during Christmas @ the Library on December 8.

The quilt was handmade by the quilting group at the Atlanta branch.

Free Self-Defense Classes for Women!

Hamilton North Public Library is offering a two-part Self-Defense Classes for Women. The first workshop is Thursday, September 8, and the second on Thursday the 15th. Both classes start at 6 pm.

Edie Keesee of the Noblesville Police Department will discuss the three different types of rapists, myths about rape, and safety tips. The second class will demonstrate hands-on self defense techniques. Both classes will be intertwined with real life stories of cases and examples of how to stay safer.
