Library Closure

HNPL Cicero & Atlanta will be closed on Saturday, July 2 and Monday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, July 5.

Extreme Couponing with Bargain Briana

Summer Reading Program Goes Live


As of Monday, June 20, our Summer Reading Program is live! Registration and logging are online at www.hnpl.lib.in.us.

To complete the program, adults must read 6 books throughout the program, which ends on Friday, July 29.

There has been some confusion about logging. Books read prior to June 20 are ineligible for the Summer Reading Program.

Author Daniel Logan


Local author Daniel Logan will be at HNPL at 6.30 on Tuesday, June 21. He'll give a short presentation, and sign copies of his latest book The Lost Portal.

(This is) The second book in Daniel Logan's "Ancient Secret" series, a story about a national, armed conflict over the diminishing supply of water in the western United States.
Set in the American Southwest, lessons are drawn from the prehistoric Native American culture, the Anasazi, to help solve the problem.
Logan builds upon his debut novel, The First Migration, in this depiction of an arid land in the throes of a life-threatening drought.

Our Summer Reading Program is coming! Online registration is available now.

This year, adults will be reading 6 books in 6 weeks to complete the program. We have some wonderful prizes, too. Keep your mind sharp throughout the summer!

Saturday, June 11


On Saturday, June 11, we have two fabulous programs for our patrons. Both programs start at 2 pm, and end at 4.30.

Art Reception for Joe Bieschke
Each month, Hamilton North Public Library proudly displays work from local artists and photographers. From 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, HNPL hosts a reception in honor of June’s artist, Joe Bieschke of Indianapolis.

Author Suzanne Purewal
Local author Suzanne Purewal will be at Hamilton North Public Library from 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. to sign copies of her book Embracing Destiny. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

Identity Theft Prevention

Detectives Tim Hendricks and John Bunch of the Noblesville Police Department will be at Hamilton North Public Library in Cicero, 209 W. Brinton St. in Cicero to discuss identity theft prevention at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The event is free to attend.
