Hamilton North Public Library is excited to be participating in this year’s Money Smart Week, April 21 – 28. Hundreds of free financial education events are occurring all over the country. The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago is partnering with financial institutions, not-for-profits, libraries and schools to raise awareness about financial education and to provide resources to the public.
HNPL is pleased to offer Mortgage FAQ at 6.30 pm on Tuesday, April 24, and Borrowing Basics at 6.30 pm on Thursday, April 26.
Chuck Eads, AVP of Mortgage Sales at FORUM Credit Union, presents Mortgage FAQ. The goal of this seminar is to provide you with information to make buying a home or refinancing your mortgage easier and less stressful. What are closing costs, and who is responsible for paying them? What is pre-approval, and why do you need one? You'll find out answers to these questions and more!
Chris Cromwell, Business Development Representative at FORUM Credit Union will present Borrowing Basics. This program helps you decide when and how to use credit. Participants will get a free copy of their credit report.
While the programs are free, registration is required. To register, visit www.hnpl.lib.in.us, or call 317-984-5623.
