Nobody Needs to Know

In honor of National Mental Health Awareness month, we are pleased to present Nobody Needs to Know at 6.30 pm on Thursday, May 24.

Nobody Needs to Know is a 40 minute one act play by Carol Bozena, and is a collaboration with AMHPA. (Awareness of Mental Health Through the Performing Arts, Inc.)

AMHPA raises awareness of mental health issues by providing education and insights through the performing arts. Nobody Needs to Know is a play written for seven people of various ages and diverse lifestyles. Their commonality is mental illness. Through a series of mini-dramas, audience members see what the members of AHMPA experience.

Pianist Dave Hepler Performs


Pianist Dave Hepler will be performing his Birthday Wishes show on Tuesday, May 15.  The show starts at 6.30 pm and should last an hour.

Dave Hepler has been playing music since the age of 8  when he began playing piano. Trumpet lessons started at age 9. At 11, He started playing music professionally with his father.  Dave later  studied trumpet at Indiana University.

In early 1994, Dave's first CD was released entitled "Birthday Wish". His additional titles include:  Anomaly,”  “Dave Hepler Tidings,” “Dave Hepler 4,” and “Song For My Fahter.”  His CDs will be available for purchase after the performance.

Money Smart Week!

Hamilton North Public Library is excited to be participating in this year’s Money Smart Week, April 21 – 28. Hundreds of free financial education events are occurring all over the country. The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago is partnering with financial institutions, not-for-profits, libraries and schools to raise awareness about financial education and to provide resources to the public.

HNPL is pleased to offer Mortgage FAQ at 6.30 pm on Tuesday, April 24, and Borrowing Basics at 6.30 pm on Thursday, April 26.

Chuck Eads, AVP of Mortgage Sales at FORUM Credit Union, presents Mortgage FAQ. The goal of this seminar is to provide you with information to make buying a home or refinancing your mortgage easier and less stressful. What are closing costs, and who is responsible for paying them? What is pre-approval, and why do you need one? You'll find out answers to these questions and more!

Chris Cromwell, Business Development Representative at FORUM Credit Union will present Borrowing Basics. This program helps you decide when and how to use credit. Participants will get a free copy of their credit report.
